to be or not to be....

...in european football tournaments :) for polish football, I mean. why? well, no polish club has played in Champions League since 1994. Yeah, it's not a mistake - 17 years since Legia managed to qualify to group stage, and consequently to 1/8 finals of the knock-out.
But the coming week may eventually bring a turn of the tide.Wisła Kraków has won the 1st leg of 4th round in CL qualifiers 1:0 over APOEL Nicosia. We all hope then that this is a good prognosis before the 2nd leg and that we will finally see a decent polish club in football elite. What's more, we have also 2 clubs in final qualifiers round for Europa League, former UEFA Cup. Legia Warsaw drawn home with Spartak Moscow 2:2 and Śląsk Wrocław just kicks off vs. Rapid Bucuresti, romanian champion.
So beware, Europe, Poland is coming to show off before Euro 2012! We put really big deal of hope in our boys. We'[ve missed a real challenge in Europe since 17 years, despite having clubs in Europa League recently (Lech Poznań qualified for EL 2 times in a row, reaching 1/8 finals both times) and we do hope that this year we'll be watching good football not only in the TV. We also hope, that tough european challenges will season our top players before Euro, so that out national team will stand firm against Europe best teams. And it's really a big deal, as Euro takes place in Poland and Ukraine, as you may know. There are pretty stadiums being built, what we are still lacking is a good national team to excite the crowds next year.
So, hail to Śląsk, Legia and Wisła! Go, boys, go!

As an incentive, have a look on Wisła scoring against APOEL:

go.blogger.com on Nokia E52

Well, the blogger apart from simple interface, easy operation and general friendliness also offers the possibility of mobile blogging, or simply posting / pictures / music from portable devices - phones, smartphones, tablets, etc. it's enough to have properly configured mail client and here you go! with nokia e52 it's a little more complex, but it can be done. unfortunately it's not enough to use symbian gmail client (in case of Gmail account) because it does not allow attachments, so you must configure the built-in mail client to use a POP3 mailbox, so as to be able to send them. you could also  transfer images via MMSes but it's probably more expensive than pushing images via email/GPRS. anyway, blogger has a limit of 250KB on a single attachment.

Nokia E52 in the case so we do these steps:

1st configure the gmail inbox in Email application (I used an existing account, changing the parameters to be suitable for gmail)
2nd log in to the panel of blogger and blog settings, from the "E-mail and mobile phone" choose "Add a cell phone."
3rd send the newly set up code that appears in the window to go@blogger.com
4th read confirmation in the mailbox on the phone or via web browser
5th voila! now sent from the device and your image or text will appear on your blog.

There is also a possibility to send an email to REGISTER on go@blogger.com content, then the verification of code at go.blogger.com create a new random mobile blog on Blogger, but I do not know how to manage it, unless you can only send posts to it. if you'd like to then post them to the desirdd blog  you could use RSS / Atom feeds.

simple?yep, feel invited

Das Boot. how the hell could I miss it?

Serioulsy, this has been the first time I saw this movie. Surely, not the last time as it really is one of the best movies I ever saw! Why did I miss it, as I'm almost thirty now? I thought this is just another submarine movie, predecessor of Crimson Tide or Hunt for Red October, formerly. How mighty wrong!
Now, Das Boot is incredible. I'm signing with my both hands under all ultra positive reviews on imdb. All these shots in tight interior of U-96 model, all open sea pictures, all this stressful moments underwater, when U-96 is on the verge of cracking into pieces 260 meters under sea surface...That simply kicks ass, you can't stop watching this movie!
Cinematically great, rich in sounds and great music, this movie tells much more than a simple story of seamen wandering sea surface and deep waters, hunting for allied ships, taking some damage and recovers, for the happy end. I'm not an overly philosophical person, and often I tend to see just the picture. But Das Boot moved me. The closing scenes showed me how hopeless, how cruel and how pointless war is. This is not what you get from just a movie. This is what you get from THE MOVIE.
And I strongly disagree with such commments. I felt strongly attached to Die Alte, to Werner, to the Chief, Johann and all the guys. Alle tolle Jungs as said in German. I will miss them till the next time I watch Das Boot. Recommend you to do it as well. Full, uncut version. 4h46min, full flavour THE MOVIE.

After watching, take a look at trivia.

so now for something completely different

As I realized I want to get through to some foreigners, I decided to run one more blog. In English this time, hoping that some people would be curious about my point of view on my country.
So please read, comment and give me your feedback - I do hope I have something to offer you. You may aks me direct questions as well, if only you have some unsolved mysteries regarding my homeland. Help yourself!
